This year marks a significant milestone for Miller UK as they celebrate 40 years in business, and to honour the occasion the company hosted a 40th anniversary celebration at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on the 11th January 2019. The evening’s events were a celebration of the voyage of the company since its humble beginnings to 40 years on where Miller is a global market leader in quick coupler and bucket technology and continues to be recognised all over the world for safety, reliability, quality and innovation.
Miller employees plus their respective partners from around the world (from as far as Australia, India, China, North America and Cramlington) gathered in Newcastle as an extension of the Miller family to celebrate Miller’s 40 years of success. In what is a monumental year for Miller, the entire workforce enjoyed an action-packed fun filled evening which also included an extra special awards ceremony to recognise the staff that had made a positive impact on the company over the past twelve months.
Chris Parkin Miller Chief Operating Officer commented “As one of the world’s leading attachment companies, it’s our people who make us who we are today. We strongly believe that the future success and global growth of our company is all down to empowering and investing in our people and enable us to pioneer the change that matters.” He added “Last year we took the opportunity to revisit and reform our core values to align them against our brand new accelerated growth vision. For it’s our values that drive our culture and how we conduct business through integrity, excellence and ultimately safety. Therefore we decided on hosting a special Miller employee award ceremony with categories which have been specially chosen to reflect the new Miller values and recognise and honour those employees who have embraced the new values and have demonstrated an outstanding contribution to the success of the company in 2018.”
Keith Miller founder of Miller UK said “We had a fantastic night celebrating four decades of success whilst honouring and recognising the effort and drive of a fantastic team. Forty years is but a milestone. It is an occasion to celebrate and an opportunity to momentarily look back, but it is also a golden ticket to chart the path forward and to carry on striving for excellence and continuing to shine.”
