Scottish rail projects have been amongst the beneficiaries of a successful collaboration between leading attachments manufacturer, Miller, and hire company Lloyd Ltd.
Miller’s PowerLatch couplers and Scoop buckets were the subject of specific requests from Lloyd customers like AB2000 plant hire, which supplies machines on hire across projects in Scotland.
The level of customer satisfaction that Miller’s products have delivered has led to Lloyd ordering Miller products for a vast majority of its machine requirements, and the relationship between the two companies is proving to be a winner for both firms, as well as their customers.
Miller’s PowerLatch couplers are cast from high tensile steel and up to 20% lighter than comparative brands in their category, making them more durable and offering greater machine stability, which is ideal for use on the large road and rail projects that companies like AB2000 regularly work on.
Miller’s flexible range of high quality, reliable products come with outstanding customer service and support, and it is this combination that has led to Lloyd and AB2000 becoming loyal proponents of Miller’s services.
The trust being placed in Miller’s products is reflected by the fact that Lloyd is now sending consignment stock to its locations in Dumfries, Bishop Auckland and Carlisle, where orders are also being made.
Stuart Dalton, dealer principle at Lloyd UK, said: “The demand for Miller’s products from our customers led to the start of what has turned into a really successful partnership between the two companies.
“We have found Miller’s products to be of the highest quality, and the feedback we get from customers about them is always positive.”
He added: “From our point of view, the service and support we receive from Miller makes them a pleasure to work with.”
