New Appointments for Miller’s UK Sales Team

New Appointments for Miller’s UK Sales Team

Most recently, Miller has strengthened our UK Sales Teams with three new appointments.

Bringing a wealth of experience in the construction equipment industry, we are delighted to welcome Georgia Ewart, Grant Freeman and Mark Pyle to the team.

Representing different regions and managing their own accounts, each will play an integral role in driving sales whilst delivering excellent customer support, which is something that is synonymous with Miller.

Meet Georgia – Key Account Manager, South East Region

With a career spanning almost a decade in the industry working as Area Sales Manager at Marubeni Komatsu Ltd, Liebherr and other companies, Georgia has always been familiar with the Miller brand. She explains she was keen to embrace the opportunity to join the company, “as it is a well-known name in the industry, recognised for providing excellent quality products and delivering high levels of customer service.”

Having already hit the ground running in her first week at Hillhead, Georgia has had the opportunity to reconnect with existing contacts, as well as meet new customers. She will be forging new relationships with the key accounts she will be managing in her territory and will be an integral point of contact for those businesses.

As a huge fan of country music, Georgia loves to sing! She is also very much an animal lover and dedicates a lot of her spare time to her horse Merlin and cocker spaniel pup, Pepper.

Meet Grant – Key Account Manager, East Midlands/Yorkshire

Grant has held various sales positions for major players including Ulrich Attachments, Veolia UK and EPG Global where he played a pivotal role in handling key accounts at various levels, as well as driving sales and delivering excellent customer relations.

Well-connected in the industry, Grant explains Miller’s reputation was a driving factor for him wanting to join the business. He said: “The company is known for its great people, great products and customer support and I am very much looking forward to developing my product knowledge further to help my customers of all sizes to sell more of their industry leading machines!”

Being family orientated, Grant enjoys spending his spare time with his partner and son, as well as running and playing golf when he gets the opportunity.

Meet Mark – Business Development Manager, North West

Having joined Marubeni Komatsu Ltd as a Construction Engineering apprentice at the age of just 17, Mark started his career in the industry as a workshop-based engineer. After completing his apprenticeship he moved into a product support sales representative role, progressing his career with MKL for almost 15 years. Since then, he has also held sales positions at Euro Auctions and most recently TC Harrison JCB.

With multi-faceted experience, Mark has even experienced fitting Miller couplers and buckets first hand and will be able to share his expertise with our customers. Over the years, he has visited Miller HQ many times.

He said: “I’ve always admired Millers manufacturing processes and its impressive robot suite really sets the company apart. I’m really enjoying the role so far, the team is great and I’m proud to be selling such high quality products.”

Mark likes to be out on the road, most recently enjoying Hillhead 2024. In his spare time, he appreciates spending time with his kids.
