Last week, we celebrated success at Hillhead 2024, the UK’s largest quarrying, construction, and recycling exhibition. We joined over 600 exhibitors and welcomed a record-breaking 18,400 visitors to the event in Buxton.

At our stand, we showcased our innovative quick coupler and bucket range, designed to perform in the most demanding environments. Our 35t Extreme Rock bucket drew significant attention, especially when displayed next to our nearly 100% robot-welded heavy-duty bucket. Together, these buckets stole the show!

Our 180° tilting quick coupler – the GTT – attracted crowds during its demo on a Volvo EC15E machine, kindly provided by Chippendale Plant Hire. This demonstration highlighted how you can achieve maximum versatility with our GTT on your compact machines.

It was fantastic to see our attachments displayed on our customers’ stands, including Volvo SMT, Hitachi Construction Machinery, CASE, SANY, Komatsu, Kubota, XCMG, Hyundai, and many more.

A significant focus for us this year was raising awareness and funds for our chosen charity for 2024 – the Lighthouse Construction Charity. This charity provides physical, emotional, and financial support to construction workers and their families across the UK.

To support this cause, we sold mini bucket models and footballs branded with the Lighthouse Club’s #MakeItVisible campaign colours. Additionally, we showcased four limited edition 20t heavy-duty buckets around the show, with one located at our stand, as well as our customers including Volvo SMT, Hitachi Construction Machinery, and CASE, which featured our special edition Lighthouse branding. A big thanks to everyone who donated and to our customers who supported our chosen charity. It was great to see the industry and our peers are fully committed to supporting this great cause.
