Most recently, we donated one of our heavy-duty buckets to the Lighthouse Construction Industry’s Autumn charity ball auction.

Held at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester, the event brought together professionals from all areas of expertise in the construction sector to raise as much awareness and funding as possible to fund the much needed financial, emotional and wellbeing support the charity offers for construction workers and their families.

The bucket donated by Miller – and showcased earlier this year at Hillhead Exhibition – was uniquely designed in the Lighthouse Construction Industry Charity distinct branding. It was bought in the silent auction by Land Recovery Rail Ltd, an industry leading construction specialist in the rail sector.

Speaking about purchasing the bucket at the autumn ball, Terry Doherty, Business Development Manager at Land Recovery Rail said: “It is the first time that we have been involved with the Lighthouse Charity, which is a fantastic cause supporting many professionals in our industry.

“The bucket will be proudly displayed at the entrance of our office, to raise awareness for our personnel that support is there if they need it, as well as reinforce that Land Recovery Rail is an advocate for the Lighthouse Charity.

“We are delighted to have been able to support this great cause with our donation, and I would like to say a special thanks to the Lighthouse team, including Aiden and Fiona, for a brilliant event, which did a fantastic job in raising both awareness and financial support. Thank you also to Miller for their kind donation at the auction, the Lighthouse bucket has been very well received at our office!”

Land Recovery Rail bid £1000 for the heavy-duty bucket and 100% of the proceeds have gone directly to the Lighthouse Charity. The company also currently utilises Millers Rail Master Couplers on its rail plant.
